Hosting costs covered

The TUG has agreed with hosting provider Uniserver that we will cover the hosting costs for a period of three months if TimeTell B.V. is no longer able to meet its obligations.

Source code secured

The Timetell source code is held in escrow by an independent third party. This ensures that, in the event of an emergency, members can continue using and maintaining the software.

Governed by Timetell users

The TUG operates independently of TimeTell B.V. Its board consists of people who use Timetell themselves on a daily basis.

The TUG ensures the continuity of Timetell

For more than twenty years, Timetell users have come together through the TUG. We ensure that our members can continue using Timetell if TimeTell B.V. is no longer able to meet its obligations.

The TUG has agreed with hosting provider Uniserver that we will cover the hosting costs for a period of three months if TimeTell B.V. is no longer able to meet its obligations. In addition, Timetell’s source code is held in escrow by an independent third party, enabling members to continue using and maintaining the software in the event of an emergency.

Timetell customers do not automatically become members of the TUG. If you would like your organisation to be covered by the continuity arrangement, you can easily register using the membership application form.

How the Timetell escrow arrangement works

The Timetell source code is deposited with Escrow Alliance in Haarlem. TimeTell B.V. submits the source code twice a year. Escrow Alliance verifies the source code and stores it securely.

In the event of an emergency, the source code is made available to TUG members without requiring the involvement of Timetell employees. This allows members to continue using and maintaining the software themselves or through a third party.
